A sibling to Bud & Marilyn’s, this attractive Italian restaurant with a full bar prioritizes Neapolitan-style pie (including a solid gluten-free option) but also features apps and entrees like arancini and rigatoni.

Valerie Safran and Marcie Turney, the local restaurateur duo behind some of Philadelphia’s most popular eateries, are partnering with Hakan Ilhan, a Washington, D.C., restaurateur with 30 years of experience owning and operating concepts, to bring their newest spot inside PHL.

Good Luck Pizza showcases oven-baked pizzas as well as small plates such as meatballs, arancini and more. Ilhan plans to offer an approachable menu designed with something for everyone in mind.

Good Luck Pizza provides guests with delicious menu items, crafted cocktails, and a relaxing environment to unwind during their travels.

The rest of the menu offerings at Good Luck Pizza feature a variety of apps including salads, wings, mussels, and fried calamari; entrees like rigatoni and braised pork; and various dessert options.

Thick crust pizza is the restaurant’s menu highlight. It’s made light and crispy through a high-hydration and long-fermentation process, and guests can customize their pies with cheese, pepperoni, vegetables, and sausage, just to name a few options.

The restaurant will also have an expansive bar as the centerpiece with walls replicating subway tiles to give a retro feel to the space. Inside, there will be flight information to ensure that guests are on schedule for their travels.
